Marshall's previous single "I'll Be Your Whiskey", produced by renowned industry veteran Chad Carlson (Taylor Swift), was the third single off of his sophomore album One Of These Days. A 2011 Canadian Country Music Association^® (CCMA^®) Award™ New Artist showcase nominee, “I’ll Be Your Whiskey” is a lyrical love song fuelled by longing, in hopes of transitioning from the ‘friend zone’ to a permanent romance as intoxicating as a shot of strong whiskey.
